This cake smelt amazing and I have been so looking forward to sharing pictures of it with you all – Dinah and Wai-Lee’s rustic buttercream and lavender wedding cake at Ashover Parish Hall Events Centre on Saturday.
Tiers of chocolate mud, zesty lemon & lime and rich brandied fruit cake. Buttercream iced tiers with fresh lavender from Chatsworth and hand picked by me in France! Set up on one of my lovely rustic wood chunk cake stands, with a cute clay dog topper that the couple can save as a keepsake from their big day. I love the elegant simplicity of this design incorporated with the rustic charm of a buttercreamed wedding cake.
